Gene Tagging Models

Gene tagging involves the insertion of protein tags like HA, FLAG, and c-MYC to the gene interest. At TME, we use prime editors that insert these tags without double-stranded DNA brakes. Using primer editors gives us superior control over the localization of the insert and as this process is free of DNA breaks and homologous recombination involved reduces the possibilities of unwanted mutations. These models are useful for gene-tracking experiments, protein purification, and protein-protein interaction studies.
